Oakridge Wines "Ovata" Chardonnay Pinot Noir NV

Ovata by Oakridge is a Sparkling Wine crafted by renowned Sparkling Winemaker, Teresa Heuzenroeder, in collaboration with the team at Oakridge Wines.

Leveraging their intimate knowledge of the Yarra Valley, the team at Oakridge have hand selected premium parcels of the classic Sparkling Wine varietals, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, in which Teresa has then crafted a preeminent Sparkling Wine.

The wine spends an average of 18 months on lees. Selected resrve parcels are blended into the final product to add layers of complexity that one does not expect to find at this humble price bracket. Aromas of fresh Fuji apples, citrus curd and white flowrs are overlaid with complex yeast-derived notes of brioche and toast. 

This excellent bubbly punches well above its weighgt division.

The word Ovata is derived from the Latin word Ovatus, meaning to rejoice, applaud, celebrate.
