Every six months or so we ship in a range of vintage Rioja reds from an exclusive source located in the heart of the region. The collection specialises in this genre, with exacting care given to the provenance, lifelong storage and prospective drinkability of the wines.
Over the past ten years we have regularly sold, and I have more than regularly "tested" wines from this source and only discovered two that were no longer dancing. This is as much testament to the rigour of the source as well as the durability of Tempranillo from Rioja - forever proving that old school is the best school...
The vast majority of the wines from this source head directly to one of the largest distributors in Manhatten, but we are fortunate to get the jump on each offering ahead of the American market for a limited time.
Join us for a relaxed exploration of the latest shipmen sent out from Spain at the end of last year. Its likley that all of these will not be available in the latest offering for purchase on the night, but the dinner will servce to establish the credentials of the source and generally stunning longevity of this regions wines...
