Chateau Lagrange 2012 [JS 92] ETA EARLY MAY

Deep, dark, ruby-red colour. Quite a closed pencil- shaving, graphite and cassis nose. The palate has clean cassis and graphite notes but is a little closed & linear. There is balanced alcohol & the tannins close it up quickly. Hopefully it will open nicely given time. Decanter Nov 2023.

Firm and balanced with blueberries, blackberries and hints of citrus and minerals. Medium body, fine tannins and a fresh finish. Best after 2017.
