The wine’s name takes inspiration from the surrounding pine forests, as ”La Pineta” translates to ”pine tree”. Always a modern, bold and robust style. Pure expression of Pinot Nero from the heart of Chianti, Podere Monastero 2019 La Pineta is a wine that reveals aromas of berries and cherries followed by spices, cedar wood and a touch of cinnamon. It is necessary to give this wine a few more years to achieve better integration. The taste is fresh and spicy with flavors of spearmint and dried ginger. The effect is super intense and enveloping. Podere Monastero is the property of Alessandro Cellai in Castellina in Chianti, in the heart of the Chianti Classico.
