This has a lighter, brighter colour than that of its siblings, and is lighter bodied and fresh, red fruits to the centre. It’s also more immediately approachable, its red fruits, tannin and acidity all symbiotically balanced. Yet, it will coast through the next 30 years without blinking. 97 points.
