WINERY NOTE:

• KORDE is a unique rosé made with Tempranillo grapes from “Cardisanto” – our most expressive vineyard – and a small percentage of Albillo. On this peak, at an altitude of 885 metres (one of the highest in Ribera del Duero), temperature changes are even greater than in the rest of the region, and the vines grow in white, chalky soils. The characteristics of the site give KORDE grapes a perfect balance between acidity and freshness.
• Part of our rosé is fermented in concrete eggs with exhaustive temperature controls to maintain the colour, brightness, varietal aromas and mineral characteristics of the wine. The other is aged for six months in new French oak barrels from the Tronçais and Bertrange forests. The vigour and complexity of KORDE come from the combination of these two processes, giving our wine refined oak notes and an elegant velvety texture while respecting the abundant fruit aromas and flavours.
