Winestate Magazine 97 points. Ten Sisters Sauvignon Blanc has a delightfully fragrant and complex bouquet with underlying citrus aromas. Single-vineyard sourcing allows the terroir its full expression and elicits a purity of flavors. The palate is bright and elegant with refined acidity and ripe flavors. It has good concentration and length, excellent structure, and a well-balanced finish. The sauvignon blanc is given extended lees contact — more than the majority of Marlborough sauvignon blancs — to create complexity and to bring out fruit flavors. Excellent on its own or with seafood, chicken, pork, salads, and Asian food....

Devil's Staircase Central Otago Pinot Noir 2023
Made by the team at Rockburn. Winery Note: Our Devil’s Staircase wines are inspired by the winding road leading from Queenstown to Kingston along the shores of Lake Wakatipu. Sourced from several Central Otago vineyards, the Devil’s Staircase Pinot Noir takes the willing down into the realm of decadence and Bacchanalian delights. Here, everything is pleasure spiced up with a bit of naughty. The unrelenting Central Otago environment tortures the vines whose twisted limbs produce a wine worthy of absolution; strong and sensual with lashings of dark fruit, sinfully succulent and devilishly good. The flavours are practically immoral,...

Mount Pleasant Hunter Valley Philip Shiraz 2018 [JH 95]
First made in 1953 and thought to be named in honour of Philip Mountbatten, Duke of Edinburgh. Always a major part of the annual Mount Pleasant production (largely contract-grown), and for some years of modest quality and deep discounts. The quantity made these days is far less, most surprising its estate origins and its quality – a classic medium-bodied, finely balanced wine proudly flying the flag for Mount Pleasant and Hunter Valley shiraz. The great vintage was its own reward. 95 points. James Halliday Published 21 February 2023
Mount Pleasant Old Paddock & Old Hill Shiraz 2021 [JH 97]
